What a weekend..

Hey There!
What a long and wonderful weekend it was!
It started out on thursday March 18th in Spring Lake Mi at Jack's located in the Holiday Inn. My good buddy from high school Frank Tomasik (Frank T in the comedy world) came out of retirement and opened the show. He brought a lot of people with him and he did really well on stage--like he never left it! Kris Peters featured and I held down the closing spot. My cousin Sean was in the audience, hadn't seen him in about 10 years! Hope to see him and his buddy and the wives in Sept at Dr Grins......

Then, I did a show at the Fredrick Mejier's garden during the day on Friday. It was a casino-themed show. Elvis opened up for me! Not the real Elvis, but a taller, older one.
Then, across the state to do a birthday show for Billy who will be 41 this week. They were a great group of people! Bennie, Billy and the family own and opperate the Eastpointe Manor in Eastpointe--stop in a say 'hello'.
Then, I drove to Merrillville IN listening to the Red Wings game on th eradio as long as I could. Past, Jackson, I had to rely on my Blackberry which had incorrectly given the wrong score....the Wings had tied it with 2 seconds left (before losing in a OT shootout...)!
I over slept in Merrillville IN and had to make serious tracks for Duluth MN. I got into town at 5:30 for a 6:30 show (?!?). Owen Thomas had two really good shows that night and I have to say, I had a lot of fun at the Dub Linn Inn. The crowds were full of energy--Ted, Orville (that will build you something), Bruce/Mike, Ally (who won't sit with her brother that might look at your penis), Zach & his 'friend' and his motorcycle camper business, the 3 ladies that were on a 'girl's night' and Carla that was not to pleased with her husband---thanks for coming out!
All told--4 nights, 5 shows, almost 2000 miles driven. I'm taking a nap.
